Nomatu at the Forefront: Samkelo Blom Champions Inclusive Disability Practices at UWC’s “Inclusive Futures” Symposium

Nomatu Consulting was honoured to participate in the Inclusive Futures: Reimagining Business and Disability Mini Symposium, where Samkelo Blom delivered a powerful session titled “Organisational Culture and Aligned Systems as Bedrock for Inclusive Disability Practices.” 

Speaking to an engaged audience, Samkelo explored a central truth: inclusion cannot live in policy alone — it must be rooted in culture. Drawing from Nomatu’s philosophy of the kraal as a safe, intentional space where all members of the human tribe belong, he emphasized that disability inclusion flourishes when organisations cultivate psychological safety, trust, and courageous conversations.
